The Challenge

Northlands School — a bilingual, IB pioneer — wanted to modernise ticket sales for concerts and academic events. Paper ticket books risked losses and forgeries, manual validation created queues, staff discounts had to be applied by hand, and the two campuses (Olivos and Nordelta) had different requirements without a unified system.

The Solution

QR tickets emailed to families with door scanning under 1 second — queues gone. Staff discounts apply automatically by entering the ID once. Independent venues and capacities for Olivos and Nordelta, with consolidated reports for the Direction and Treasury. Tested with the Camerata Bariloche, ready to roll out to every academic event. On event day, staff validate QRs from the mobile app and Communications watches live how much capacity is left in Olivos and Nordelta — no phone-to-PC dance, no queues, with instant pings on any ticket that bounces.

What they say

With Fanz we send the QR, scan it at the door and that's it. The system applied the staff discount just by entering the ID. After this pilot with the Camerata Bariloche, we want to use Fanz at every event, on any campus.
